This individual will define service architectures, partner deeply with engineering, and deliver the APIs and data streams that enable fans to discover and purchase tickets with clarity and confidence of the modern fan platform. The product team manages the finding and selection of tickets for live events ? how they make fans aware of which tickets are available for sale, what those tickets include, what they cost and more ? in a highly performant, error-free environment. This role will exercise more of this individuals technical capabilities and build on the APIs that power this experience. They will work closely with engineering to translate distributed systems concepts (Kafka streaming, real time pricing services, inventory services) into clear product requirements and platform capabilities. As the team continues to build out this service and related APIs, it will be used to not only power the maps through various applications, but also pricing and inventory information throughout the site, any/all offerings on third party partners, and many of their marketing campaigns.
