There are about 750 schools within the district that require upgrades across 7 core components: LAN, WLAN, Fiber Optic Cabling, VoIP, Public Address Systems, Camera Systems, and Physical Intrusion Systems. The LAN platforms that are leveraged across these components include HP/Aruba, Alcatel and Cisco. The goal of these projects is to upgrade outdated technology. This project manager will be assisting in project scheduling, managing project deliverables and requirements, and reporting and tracking. The projects will consist of all phases of upgrade/construction activities including but not limited to;: Design, Installation/Configuration Quality Assurance and Final Closeout. They will be responsible for managing individual projects within the program that can range in size from a few thousand dollars to several hundreds of thousands of dollars each. They will be traveling to school sites about 20% of the time but must be flexible if this percentage increases. This project manager must be flexible, maintain a growth mindset, and be able to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. Responsibilities: Engage with project teams, departments, and IT staff, leading the implementation of in-scope Services for the LAUSD networking projects. A major client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a Salesforce BSA on a 6 month contract to potential extension/hire. The BSA is a valued member of an agile technology team, they partner with... the Product Manager to understand upcoming work based on product backlog and roadmap and break down projects into epics and user stories for Developers and Testers. This BSA collaborates with the agile team to assist with technical design and write user stories that include detailed technical requirements to create or modify an application to meet business objectives. This person also has deep understanding of both the business domain/impacted stakeholder groups, and technical product or application, including upstream/downstream impacts. The BSA may collaborate with other technology teams to align requirements and dependencies for upcoming projects and may investigate incidents or issues to determine the functional cause, query databases, review log files, or inspect JSON/XML messages; create ad hoc reports using application data; or may configure SaaS products or internal applications.
