Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Finance Process Owner for a leading manufacturing organization. This candidate will be responsible for owning and improving end-to-end finance processes while partnering closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting and finance background combined with SAP ERP experience, process improvement expertise, and exposure to financial system implementations. This individual will support strategic initiatives, lead testing and change management efforts, improve business processes, and ensure financial systems and operations are aligned with organizational goals. Responsibilities include:
Own assigned finance processes from intake through execution and steady-state operations
Drive finance process standardization, optimization, and automation efforts
Partner with Finance, IT, GTS, and business leaders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
Support SAP and financial system enhancement initiatives
Participate in testing, UAT, deployment, and change management activities
Manage initiative backlogs, priorities, risks, dependencies, and timelines
Develop process documentation, training materials, and business procedures
Serve as an escalation point for finance process and system issues
Support reporting, analytics, and business decision-making
Lead continuous improvement efforts across finance operations

Salary range: 85-116k.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
3+ years of finance/accounting operations experience
Experience with end-to-end finance processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling
SAP ERP experience supporting finance and business processes
Experience working alongside ERP/financial system implementations
Requirements gathering, testing, UAT, and change management experience
Ability to partner with Finance, IT, GTS, and business stakeholders
Finance process improvement and optimization experience
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

SAP MM (Materials Management) experience
Experience with OneStream, Kyriba, Hyperion, JDE, or similar financial platforms
Agile environment experience including backlog management and sprint participation
Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies
PMP, CPA, CMA, Agile certifications
Manufacturing industry experience
Process automation and finance transformation experience
