As part of our client's film group, this position is responsible for delivering design solutions to key business initiatives; provide support to application issues on a day-to-day basis; innovate,... design, and implement software solutions within company standards; and collaborate effectively with the our client's business team, the other IT cross-functional teams and business units to provide expert system development life cycle support. Responsibilities will include:oLead the requirements analysis/gathering, business process definition and design sessions with the business stakeholders to deliver new functionalitiesoCreate functional and high-level technical designs based on business requirements which includes "As Is" and "To Be" workflows, use case specification, screen and high level conceptual table design, test plans and other established documentationoCreate functional and technical designs for system interfaces that use the ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) tool InformaticaoCollaborate with the client team (project managers, analysts, developers) to ensure that the functional and technical specifications are correctly translated into application code for an efficient system development lifecycleoParticipate in peer design reviews to ensure that the design is complete and up to the team's standardsoWork independently to review the system documentation and learn the existing functionality oCreate and execute test plansoProvide expert trouble-shooting capabilities to assess, identify, test, and resolve reported application issues for daily production support of the application oCoordinate with other IT project teams within the organization to design new automated interfaces with upstream/downstream source systems and provide support for the existing interfacesoProvide training, support and guidance to the user community on application features and enhancementsoWork closely with the director and project managers to establish project scoping, prioritization and provide regular project statusWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
