Job Description
We are currently seeking a HR Generalist for a full time, direct hire opportunity in Georgetown Ky. It is expected for this person to oversee daily HR needs for all three locations with a focus on employee relations and employment law. This will include supporting both operations staff and corporate staff with various needs such as leave, investigations, hiring and onboarding etc. This HR Generalist will be responsible for providing daily HR support to the plant in Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia. This will include the ability to travel to both the IN and WV locations once every 6 weeks. These trips are typically day trips but might require overnight stay (company pool vehicle available and expenses covered by company). Ideally we are seeking someone with a strong HR background in a warehousing/manufacturing background that is looking to grow long-term with the organization. This role will require to work onsite at the Georgetown KY location and travel up to 25% of the time and compensation is based on experience ranging from 70-85k.

Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years of experience in a HR Professional role with specific experience in employee relations, investigations, performance improvement plans, ADA, and FMLA.
- Strong employment law and employee relations knowledge/experience required
Experience supporting manufacturing or warehousing environment
Comfortable traveling up to 25% of time between KY, IN and WV plants.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
SHRM certification (highly preferred)
Bachelors degree
