AV Programmer

One of Insight Global's clients is looking to hire an AV Programmer to support a shared service for a growing technology infrastructure company. The AV Programmer is responsible for designing,... More programming, and maintaining audio-visual systems to meet the needs of clients. This role involves collaborating with clients, project managers, and other team members to ensure the successful implementation of AV solutions.They will be implementing control system programming for AV systems using programming languages such as Creston or Extron and writing code to seamlessly integrate various AV components (displays, projectors, audio systems, etc.). They will also have to troubleshoot and test these systems to ensure functionality prior to client use. The programmer will create documentation in the form of end user guides, system designs and provide trainings on the AV systems. This will be a fully remote position, open to candidates working from home anywhere across the US but preferably close to the company's office locations listed below. There will be occasional travel expected to client sites - although a lot of the programming is done remotely, there are larger systems that require this individual to travel onsite. Travel would be fully paid for by the company. More Sports Venue project. The SDE provides direction and oversight through the project life cycle from sales concept to design development, construction drawings to implementation support. As the technical authority on a project team, the SDE is instrumental in the determination and execution of client and system requirements and will collaborate with SME teams as required. The position will be a blended role between solutions architecture in presales, engineering design, & overseeing installation handoff. The position is remote and able to work local time hours. There is roughly 30% travel throughout the year to professional & collegiate sports stadiums.
