They will be responsible for starting the mills, adjusting controls, and making trial cuts to ensure proper accuracy. He/she will be able to determine product specifications and materials, work methods, and machine setup requirements, according to blueprints and work orders. The operator feeds doors into CNC machine to produce desired routing and adjust CNC machine tables or cutting devices and set controls to produce specified cuts or operations. These operators are also responsible for monitoring operation of the CNC machine and adjusting machines to correct problems and ensure conformance to specifications. He/she will inspect and mark completed work pieces and stack them on pallets, so that they can be moved to the next workstation. Insight Global is looking for CNC Mill Machinist to work for an end client in West Chicago, IL. This person will be responsible for operating and setting up the CNC milling machines for projects... relating to sustainability and new product development. This position will be 5 days a week 7am-3:30pm, or 2nd shift 2:30pm-11pm. This person will be requested to work overtime on a case by case basis. They will be responsible for starting the mills, adjusting controls, and making trial cuts to ensure proper accuracy. He/she will be able to determine product specifications and materials, work methods, and machine setup requirements, according to blueprints and work orders. The operator feeds doors into CNC machine to produce desired routing and adjust CNC machine tables or cutting devices and set controls to produce specified cuts or operations. These operators are also responsible for monitoring operation of the CNC machine and adjusting machines to correct problems and ensure conformance to specifications. He/she will inspect and mark completed work pieces and stack them on pallets, so that they can be moved to the next workstation. The Engineers will be assigned to a project that requires utility pole design mapping. They will be given survey packets of the poles they are mapping. These surveys were collected by the people out... in the field. With the survey packets they will know the geographic location of the poles and the different assets (wires, boxes, etc.) attached to each pole.
