Oversee the daily tasks of assigned Product Research Team members. Guide activities to ensure project, department and corporate goals are met. Operates with minimal supervision.Responsibilities ?Perform under general direction from the Manager, Product Research, Requirements and Analysis ?Work with stakeholders and decision makers to complete project tasks. Collaborate with internal teams including Customer Support, QA/Certification, IT and Data Support Specialists and external end users and taxing authority contacts?Serve as a payroll tax filling, payments and compliance subject matter expert; prioritize research requests and analyze and interpret results?Interpret regulatory information and assist in creating detailed functional specifications?Participate in payroll industry group forums, meetings, and organizations ?Maintain currency and the highest level of industry wide application knowledge to support the company?s products?Participate in Performance Reviews of team members?Develop subordinates (i.e. train, motivate, mentor, monitor conduct and work performance, oversee disciplinary actions using established company procedures) ?Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company?s calculation, tax filing, payments, and tax profile set up products?Review and provide recommendations based upon industry standards and approve tax filing, payment, amendment, correction, and recordkeeping processes?Ensure that regulatory processes in the company?s products, in particular filing and payment functionality, comply with regulations and that existing and new filing and payment requirements are known and metWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
