This pivotal role is integral to the... company's operations, as it involves providing comprehensive support to outside sales representatives throughout the sales and project execution processes. The Regional Sales Manager serves as the company's foremost authority on engineering solutions, offering technical expertise, delivering presentations, formulating project specifications, preparing proposals and bids, collaborating closely with engineers, educating sales representatives on products and solutions, participating in industry tradeshows, and cultivating enduring client relationships. The projects associated with this role are characterized by their slow pace yet large scale, necessitating the expertise of highly skilled technical professionals to secure successful project outcomes. This position offers the flexibility to be based in either Florida or South Georgia, overseeing territories encompassing Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee.Working with the Business Development & Outside Sales Manager, establish clear sales objectives for each outside representative firm to ensure both short-term and long-term growth. Working with the Business Development & Outside Sales Manager, create and execute a distinct sales process and marketing strategy for each outside representative firm. Provide necessary support to outside sales representatives to enable them to generate qualified market leads, create a substantial pipeline and secure project contracts. Develop and manage relationships with qualified precast tank installation contractors. Communicate expectations, standards, and procedures to qualified precast tank installation contractors. Provide technical recommendations to improve the sales potential and customer satisfaction Conduct technical product presentations and design assistance for outsides sales representatives Travel with sales representatives providing individual coaching and professional development Develop favorable project specifications and bid positioning Facilitate contract negotiations and closing/scope determination Participate in trade shows, marketing events, conferences Build and maintain positive client and customer relationships Educate the outside sales representatives on new products and services Train outside sales representatives to learn best practices for the sales process and selling company products.
