Salary: Around 175k + BonusIn this role, the Business Development Manager will spend their day identifying upcoming transportation and infrastructure projects across California and building... relationships with the agencies, engineering firms, construction partners, and technology companies involved in those efforts. They will stay informed on what projects are being planned before they are formally released, helping ensure the company is positioned early and effectively. The individual will regularly meet with external stakeholders to maintain visibility and credibility in the market, set up introductory meetings, and represent the company at industry events and conferences. Internally, they will work closely with leadership and technical teams to share market insights, help evaluate which opportunities to pursue, and support strategy development for bids and proposals. Throughout the day, the role also involves coordinating with proposal teams by providing local market knowledge, identifying potential partners, and contributing to presentation materials and pursuit strategies.
