More order to be successful on this team you must have hands-on experience supporting large complex applications and upgrading major versions of Hibernate in a highly visible public sector environment. This team announced their kickoff to their stakeholders on 1/14/26, therefore this project is brand new and you?d be jumping into a project that has not started their Hibernate upgrade yet. In order to be successful in this role you must have personally converted code from one version of hibernate to another at the enterprise level. Simply testing code or doing enhancements to code is not enough here. You must also have at least 7 years of experience working on large scale, complex projects that includes actively upgrading and migrating with a major version of Hibernate and have a solid java development background. Candidates without hands-on experience supporting a hibernate upgrade will not be considered. The interview will consist of only questions regarding your Hibernate upgrade experience. This is a 12-month contract opportunity with potential to extend or conversions depending on performance and budget availability. This client is local to St. Paul, MN therefore this team would prefer that you can go on site about 2 times pers week in order to meet with stakeholders and project leads to ensure performance and project progression is on track. They also have team members in Harrisburg, PA and Orlando, FL so those locations would be their second preference.
