This person will be responsible for design modifications of structural components, electro-mechanical assemblies, payloads, ground equipment, launching systems, flight control actuators, prototype hardware development, performing design verification testing and configuration management of products. This will include product line configuration and change orders in Agile PLM system, understanding product design and features and familiarity with the manufacturing process. He/She will be in communication with the development team and Contract Manufacturers to identify and resolve gaps. They will be responsible for documentation and getting approvals on corrective actions. This Engineer will be running CCB (Configuration Control Board) and they'll assist with board layouts through integration and storage. He/She will also work closely with the program manager to ensure configuration is documented through hardware and electrical design documentation in the form of design drawings and bill of materials both in excel. This Engineer will be helping the transition from low rate initial production to full rate production. The growth path to scale is the team is currently producing 10 per month and they'd like this Engineer to be involved with the development and transition to 100/month.
