Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Configuration Management / Quality Assurance Engineer to support integrated systems within a defense environment. This individual will be responsible for managing configuration across hardware, software, and documentation, while executing testing and verification efforts prior to system installation. The ideal candidate has experience in lab environments, and a strong understanding of structured processes and documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform configuration management across integrated hardware and software systems
- Execute system, integration, and regression testing
- Identify, document, and track defects, configuration changes, and test results
- Maintain configuration baselines, version control, and technical documentation

Required Skills & Experience
- 3-8 years of experience in Configuration Management / Quality Assurance
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Experience working in lab/test environments
- Knowledge of configuration management and quality assurance processes
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Background in defense, aerospace, or other regulated industries
- Exposure to cybersecurity requirements or standards
- Familiarity with embedded systems or electrical components
- Prior experience supporting DoD programs
