The Advanced EV Development ? Vehicle Accessory Product Development Engineer is a hybrid design and product development role focused on taking vehicle accessories from early studio concepts through... engineering release, supplier development, and launch. This role is not a pure CAD designer position, but instead sits between Design Release Engineer (DRE) and CAD Designer, with strong ownership of design intent, feasibility, DFM, supplier coordination, and structural performance.The engineer works closely with studio design, core vehicle engineering, and suppliers to develop accessories such as roof cross bars, roof racks, tonneau/bed covers, and other exterior accessories, ensuring they meet functional, structural, aesthetic, cost, and manufacturing requirements.
