As these elements are identified, required metadata names and definitions of each element will be written and stored in the local metadata repository. Data Lineage flows will be gathered manually and through automated tools where available. Data Quality metrics will be applied to the authorized data source for monthly reporting to Executives. While performing this function, meeting with business and tech managers will be a critical function of the success of this role. Developing relationships with these partners will provide insight into the data that is critical for reporting, as well as provide seamless engagement opportunities within the teams for working relationships with developers and analysts. Assisting with technical aspects, including understanding SQL and high-level database structures will drive the success in completing the end-to-end data requirements of the Data Quality and Control Executive Function.
