The Accountant II supports the accounting operations for a hospital by performing day-to-day accounting activities and contributing to the monthly close process. This role works with a high level of... independence while partnering closely with senior accountants and leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong financial controls.This individual is responsible for preparing journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and ensuring all balances are properly accounted for as part of the month-end close. The Accountant II will also support the preparation of financial reporting packages for both internal leadership and external stakeholders.Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
