This position plays a critical role in maintaining door uptime, safety compliance, and uninterrupted airport operations.Day-To-Day: - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial door systems across terminals, concourses, tunnels, and support spaces- Inspect, repair, and replace: Hinges, frames, closers, panic hardware, thresholds, sweeps, and weather stripping- Adjust and maintain automatic door operators and push-button devices- Align and shim doors to ensure safe, compliant closing and latching- Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues related to door operators (non-security systems)- Respond to reactive maintenance calls impacting passenger flow or operations- Ensure doors meet life-safety, egress, and ADA compliance standards- Coordinate with: DOA / Access Control teams, MC Dean when issues involve card readers or secured areas (no access control work performed directly)- Accurately document work orders, parts used, and corrective actions in Hexagon CMMS- Support a zero-incident safety culture in a 24/7 mission-critical environmentWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
