A manufacturing client in Cincinnati is looking to hire a Compensation Manager to join their HR team fulltime. This individual will be responsible for managing a compensation program, developing and... implementing compensation policies and procedures, continually evaluating compensation throughout the organization, and working with upper-level management to continually evaluate and develop a compensation strategy. The first year of this role will involve maintaining the system in place, cleaning up the system & developing new strategies, and enforcing policies around the earnings structure they currently have. Following this this person will be heavily involved in building out a 5 year plan. This role will be heavy analysis based, looking at excel files, time management systems, UKG and much more. They will need to work heavily with high level management to enforce reward policy and procedures. More duties are listed below. Manage and administer the various compensation programsMonitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommend cost-effective changes consistent with compensation trends and business objectivesAudit, evaluate, and monitor additional earnings codes for consistency across the businessMaintain Mercer file with all positions and changes to positionsLead the annual review of all bonus programsReview and understand the job descriptions to evaluate job positioning within the companyPartner with HR Managers and managers to provide advice on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluationsDesign creative solutions for specific compensation-related programs and incentive plansDevelop wage and hour and compensation training for managersOversee participation in salary surveys and monitor salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achievedEnsures compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations, including wage and hourSupport with HR ProjectsOther duties as assigned.We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
