This position is an internal leadership position with the primary responsibilities being supervising, directing and supporting the Inside Sales Team and assisting the Vice President Sales and his/her team of Account Managers as required, with a strong degree of dedication, professionalism, integrity, and in alignment with company goals and objectives.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1.Plan, direct and supervise the daily activities of the Inside Sales Representatives.2.Manage and coordinate all staff activities, including hiring, motivation, performance reviews, attendance, training, discipline, etc.3.Plan and conduct new sales staff orientation to foster positive attitude toward organization objectives.4.Ensure each staff member has a personalized training plan to optimize performance and career development.5.Interpret and communicate work procedures and company policies to staff.6.Set and track ongoing sales targets for your team.7.Assist staff with resolving problems and completing work.8.Build and develop Inside Sales staff by providing ongoing coaching and mentoring.9.Act as mediator to resolve any team conflicts quickly to minimize the impact on productivity.10.Assist the Vice President Sales with accurately forecasting future business.11.Responsible for continuously challenging the status quo to drive improved performance across all aspects of the team with a focus on customer satisfaction.12.Evaluate and assist in planning of inventory and production schedules.13.Manage key customer accounts.14.Resolve customer complaints and answer questions regarding service and procedures, including travelling to customer locations as required.15.Communicate with other departments and management to resolve problems and expedite work.16.Provide management with updates and reports as required.17.Adhere to and comply with all applicable statutory legislation and company policies and procedures.18.Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities and problem-solving initiatives.19.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
