Insight Global is looking for a Manufacturing Zone Execution Engineer to support an automotive client. Each engineer will be engineering solutions and optimizing the manufacturing methods, process,... sequencing, and specified tooling for a zone of 30+ workstations in the final/general assembly of a vehicle. The Zone Engineer will facilitate and manager the tasks, engineering changes, and solutions needed for that zone to be executed for launch. The Zone Engineer will need to have a strong familiarity with the tooling and process for assembling a vehicle, preferably the final assembly. They will be responsible for communicating with plant representatives, tooling suppliers, and internal engineering teams (ergonomics, industrial, etc.) to optimize their zone and implement solutions for any process or engineering changes for their zone.
