Insight Global is seeking a Facilities Director to join a Fortune 1000 manufacturing and engineering innovator that provides safe and effective nuclear solutions for global security, clean energy,... environmental restoration, nuclear medicine and space exploration. This individual will be joining their Nuclear Fuel team of 100 individuals onsite in Erwin, TN. They will be responsible for managing the proper operation and maintenance of all of the organizations facilities, buildings and grounds.Main duties include: 1. Oversees the scheduling, maintenance, and monitoring of all heating, ventilating, air conditioning, water, electric, and other systems to ensure efficient operation.2. Coordinates construction, remodeling, and repair projects. Obtains cost estimates and coordinates activities related to building renovations or space allocations, and inspects completed work for conformance to specifications.3. Manages security standards to ensure constant protection of staff, facilities, and equipment from fire, theft, sabotage, etc.4. Develops, monitors, and implements schedule of housekeeping activities such as janitorial, lawn and landscaping maintenance, snow and trash removal, and painting and minor repairs.5. Manages employee cafeteria ensuring that all food preparation conforms to established health standards.6. Engages in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and controlling.7. Has supervisory responsibility involving staffing, conducting performance appraisals, training and developing subordinates, promotions, salary increases, terminations, disciplinary actions, etc.8. Administration and implementation of the Companys Capital Program. This includes preparation of budget plan, review, approval, and recommendation of all capital expenditures.9. Provide oversight and ongoing review/coordination of project and facility expense expenditures.10. Direct engineering and operational efforts for on and offsite decommissioning facility improvements/repairs. This includes planning, cost estimates, schedules, designs, installation and start-up operations support.11. Direct the services of contracted architects, engineers, and construction firms.12. Direct and oversee all transportation and waste management operations across the site.13.
