Professional Electrical Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will take a lead role in the design, development, and modeling of electrical systems for diverse projects funded by the Government, You will utilize Revit and AutoCAD to create high-quality construction documents, manage project timelines, and mentor junior staff, ensuring compliance with all NEC and safety standards from concept through construction administration.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Modeling: Develop, modify, and review complex 3D Revit models and 2D AutoCAD drawings for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems.Engineering Calculations: Perform electrical calculations, including load analysis, short-circuit calculations, voltage drop, arc flash hazard analysis, and breaker sizing.PE Responsibilities: Seal/stamp electrical engineering construction documents, plans, and specifications.Coordination: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and mechanical engineers to integrate electrical systems, using Revit to check for interferences.Code Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA, IBC, and local energy codes.Project Management Support: Assist in preparing project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
