Insight Global is looking for an AI Research Scientist to work with one of our largest energy clients. As a Research Scientist, you will design, develop, and apply innovative AI technologies,... including large scale time-series and scientific foundation models, to tackle complex challenges in the energy sector. Your work will leverage time-series, tabular, image, text, video, and/or scientific simulation data along with domain knowledge to create single- or multi-modality foundation models to unlock new capabilities in design, discovery, decision support, and autonomy. Your work will span the entire research spectrum, from fundamental theoretical and empirical investigations to prototyping novel solutions in industrial setting. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse application domains, including power generation, renewable energy, decarbonization, electric grids, robotics, and manufacturing, in collaboration with different business units and a broad network of researchers across disciplines.
