Insight Global is looking for a AS400 iSeries specialist to join one of our enterprise financial clients local to Plano, TX. They will support critical AS400 systems and applications for the Global... Markets business. This role supports the stability and availability of critical trading and transaction-processing platforms used across front, middle, and back-office functions. The focus is on day-to-day production support for AS400/iSeries environments and their upstream and downstream integrations with Linux, Unix, and Windows systems. Responsibilities include real-time monitoring, incident triage, and issue resolution when transactions fail or performance degrades. The role drives incident management end to end?opening tickets and bridges, coordinating with the appropriate technology and business teams, and providing clear, concise status updates until resolution. In addition, the position participates in scheduled contingency and disaster recovery testing, serves as primary support during assigned coverage rotations (including weekends or holidays), and leverages monitoring tools, SQL analysis, runbooks, and basic automation to restore service efficiently and reduce repeat issues.The role will involve hands-on management of critical batches, Incident Management, Monitoring of critical processes and functional releases. This role requires partnership with Infrastructure and Development partners to maintain a stable and resilient platform. A core level of AS400 resources are required during AMRS shifts to ensure critical processes are completed within SLA to avoid client, financial and regulatory reporting impact.
