Other responsibilities include Pipe/Tube bending and fabrication, tack welding, and Candidates will need to be able to work independently, and have the ability to learn and apply new information. Experience working with Pumps, Compressors, or valves is heavily preferred. Both 1st and 2nd shift will start off on 1st shift (6:00AM 2:30PM). Insight Global is seeking an Engineering Director to join a Fortune 1000 manufacturing and engineering innovator that provides safe and effective nuclear solutions for global security, clean energy,... environmental restoration, nuclear medicine and space exploration. This individual will be joining their Nuclear Fuel team of 300 individuals onsite in Erwin, TN. They will be responsible for the overall leadership and general management of the Engineering and Project Management groups. Additional duties include: 1. Administration and implementation of the Company's Capital Program. This includes preparation of budget plan, review, approval, and recommendation of all capital expenditure.2. Review and control project expenditures.3. Review and approve facility expense expenditures.4. Direct engineering effort for on and offsite decommissioning, process production endeavors, facility improvements/repairs, and New Business Programs. This includes planning, cost estimates, schedules, designs, installation and start-up operation support.5. Direct engineering support to New Business Group for proposals, quotations, and awarded contracts.6. Direct and guide engineering sections and CAD group to maintain effective utilization of personnel and equipment.7. Direct the services on contracted architects, engineers, and construction firms.8.
