A client in Everett, WA is looking to add a Sr Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH) Engineer Level 5 to their team. This individual will work on the Commercial Airplane business, and will oversee and... guide teams with airborne electronic hardware devices for the development of airplane systems. The will be tasked with developing application specific integrated circuits, field programmable gate arrays and programmable logic device changes, and ensure that all applications are compliant with regulatory requirements. Engineers in this position must understand RTCA/DO-254 and the relationship between complex electronics. Highly desired are engineers with recent experience showing or finding compliance for airborne electronic hardware.Day to Day Responsibilities:- Oversee and guide teams with airborne electronic hardware devices in development of airplane systems- Provide direction to suppliers to improve their performance to contractual requirements (quality, delivery, cost, technical, safety, communication etc.)- Support audit and design reviews- Evaluate risks and opportunities, assist suppliers in implementing risk mitigation programs - Work with internal and external resources utilizing tools, processes and methods to enhance supplier performance to meet customer and program requirements.
