This engineering technician will work closely with a variety of construction contracting groups in order to facilitate timely and efficient completion of projects. The contracting crews are responsible for milling, paving, tear out, pull back and form of the asphalt or concrete and can be anywhere from 6-15 people. The main responsibility of the engineering tech will be to facilitate daily activities and objectives with the crew through communicating with the superintendent. While the crew superintendent is directing the contractors, the engineering tech will be on the job site to track daily progress, document observations and ensure the crews are working within the project specifications.
