Position OverviewThe Tax Accountant position is an entry level accounting professional performing bookkeeping, accounting, payroll and income tax return preparation under the supervision of a Tax... The tax associate role is designed to help beginning staff members develop a strong set of core skills and ensure new tax professionals are well prepared to begin their careers and support the firm in accounting and tax services. It is a dual discipline position doing work in both business accounting and individual income tax return preparation. The tax associate creates (and then maintains) the financial books and tax records for multiple clients.Accounting FunctionsReconciliations: Prepare bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations and loan reconciliations using EXCEL worksheets for supporting calculations.
