As part of a well-established Power Delivery practice, this candidate will have the opportunity to manage Substation projects in Missouri, Kansas and beyond. This person will be working closely with the Substation Engineering Manager to ensure project execution and delivery. While the EM is more focused on the technical delivery, the PM is responsible for the client communication aspect of the work. Responsibilities include: ? Managing and leading substation projects throughout the entire project life cycle, including scope and/or proposal development, project team development and assignment, project execution, project closeout, quality control, schedule, and budget management. ? Producing and coordinating several small to medium projects concurrently. ? Working independently and/or directing, mentoring, training, and/or supervising one or more Project Engineers, EITs, Designers, CADD Technicians and administrative staff. ? Leading the QA/QC process on projects per the Quality Management Systems requirements with a commitment to delivering world class quality. ? At times, being responsible for overseeing non-engineering components of projects, including public involvement, environmental permitting, right of way acquisition, construction management, and other services. ? Leveraging existing staff across the company to execute work and deliver world class services. ? Performing client management, project management, and/or technical support activities.
