An employer is looking for Estimate Approver to start on to join the Centralized Maintenance team. These individuals will be a part of the Centralized Maintenance Team and responsible for... More coordinating and managing repairing events for tractors, trailers and hostlers. You will be responsible for reviewing 30+ estimates per day that will come from outside maintenance vendors. You will validate that the defect meets the clients wear and tear guidelines, that the solution provided by the maintenance vendor will address the defect and that the price is reasonable. If you identify any repairs or charges that are not reasonable you will request explanation from the vendor and flag for further review before moving to the next estimate. You will not be working with or taking calls from end-customers. This is not a customer service position! You will be reviewing estimates and pictures received from vendors on high dollar repairs that are necessary due to either wear and tear or damage. We are looking for individuals who are driven, have excellent communication skills and are quick learners. In addition, we are looking for individuals who have flexibility with schedules, and must be comfortable working holidays including Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.
