Be assigned to the site on a full-time basis for the duration of field activities. The SSHO will have no duties other than Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) related duties.? Provide day-to-day onsite implementation and enforcement of the accepted APP/SSHP.? Have authority to stop work if unacceptable health or safety conditions exist and take necessary action to re-establish and maintain safe working conditions.? Ensure site compliance with specified SOH requirements, Federal, state and OSHA regulations and all aspects of the APP/SSHP including, but not limited to, activity hazard analyses, sound monitoring, use of PPE, site controls, standard operating procedures used to minimize hazards, safe use of engineering controls, the emergency response plan, confined space entry procedures (as required), spill containment program, and preparation of records by performing a daily safety inspection and documenting results on the Daily Safety Inspection Log.?
