This role is... highly hands-on and development-focused, supporting critical trading infrastructure used across multiple regions. The developer will work extensively within the Fidessa platform, performing daily scripting and development while also contributing to a Java-based technology layer depending on project needs. On a day-to-day basis, this individual will support several active initiatives, including a major migration from a legacy Sybase database to Oracle, requiring strong object-oriented Java development skills. The role involves 90% coding, with the remaining 10% consisting of third level production support.
