Since its inception in the Summer of 2022, the firm has increased revenue by 30% and added 20 high-level and experienced staff. The firm integrates a multi-family feel into a CPA firm by serving as our client's first point advisors when it comes to client's tax, investment, and business management needs.We are looking for smart, personable, and hard-working individuals that want to further their career in tax while also gaining exposure to the venture capital, strategy, and detailed business dealings of a variety of industries. This is an opportunity to learn areas that traditional CPA firms cannot offer. Candidates will work closely in all aspects with their clients with the intention that they gain a well-rounded expertise in preparing returns and eventually consulting for a variety of different clients.Responsibilities include:- Associate will report directly to the manager and signer on the account.- Associate will be responsible for the preparation of tax returns, planning/projections, and the completion of applicable transactions.- Associate will be responsible for organizing and completing client engagement files.- Associate will help prepare extensions and estimates for clients.- Associate will be included on day-to-day client correspondences and will be active in maintaining client accounts and fulfilling client requests.- Associate will be on most client meetings taking notes and creating action items to follow through on.Additional information:Our client has done away with the traditional billable hour goals. Associates/seniors/managers on the team will be involved in a dollar amount book of business that determines quarterly bonuses. You pick your workload. The bonus structure has very high potential for those wanting to work and learn more. As an AIS,... More you will be responsible for building and coding the new benefit plan designs into the corporation's claims processing system, RxClaim. Blue Cross Blue Shield (their client) sends information about their new or updated pharmacy benefit plans they offer to members, and you take this information to code and input it into RxClaim so that their system can process claims correctly. You will also implement benefit plan changes or updates. RxClaim is a computer program that prompts you through each step, and you will run through the system and code in the benefit plan information as you go. You do not need to have previous experience with RxClaim in order to be successful on this team. Additionally, you will be tasked with performing root-cause analysis for incoming inquiries regarding benefit coding or claims processing.You will also be responsible for the following: system testing, supporting/monitoring system capabilities, providing Benefit Edit Tool (BET) submission support to clients, and general tasks related to the assurance of correct claims processing. You will also use Excel for plan build checklists and macros. The macros are created by IT, so you wont create macros, but you will learn to use them. Macros are used to add drug lists to the benefit plans in one large step instead of entering everything in individually for each plan. You will also run reports and queries to perform analysis on the plans you build. This is a collaborative and team-oriented environment, so you will also communicate and interact with other team members and departments.
