Insight Global is looking for an HR Business Partner to join the Lumber organization at the largest timber supplier. The candidate will support a unionized manufacturing site in Drayton Valley, AB.... In this role, the successful candidate will be required to build relationships with site leaders with an ability to coach through HR related issues and understand the business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspective. The successful candidate will need to have a strong labor relations background, ability to diagnose organizational issues, develop solutions, and implement HR action plans in partnership with the site Manager and be willing to take on special projects as needed. This role will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the HR functions for the Drayton Valley mill. Other tasks include:Strategic business partner to the Drayton Valley leadership team as well as the broader Region HR Team.Provide top-quality coaching, consultations, and solutions in all areas of HR, including employee relations, talent management, and leadership training.Support leadership team with people development by identifying skill gaps and developing solutions.
