They will be responsible for designing and redesigning power distribution layouts for a large Energy Supplier in the Carolinas under the direct supervision of the engineering manager, and will be working directly with the City of Rock Hill. They will be tasked with designing layouts and redesigning grids for the client as needed. The ideal candidate will have a background in power or utilities distribution with a strong will to learn and grow with a company. Responsibilities include:1. Development Engineering Oversight?Serve as the engineering point of contact for underground utility aspects of private development projects?Review developer submittals for compliance with City standards and utility requirements?Coordinate with City staff, developers, and other consultants during project execution2. Underground Utility Design?Perform underground electric distribution design for residential and commercial developments?Develop layouts including conduit systems, transformer placement, switchgear, and service points?Incorporate City Construction Units (CUs) and standards into designs3.
