A well-established industrial manufacturing organization is hiring an Inventory Support Manager to take full ownership of inventory accuracy, controls, and execution across the operation. This role... is highly visible, works line-by-line with leadership, and is critical to operational efficiency, cost control, and production flow.This position manages a small inventory-focused team (Purchasing, Inventory, Shipping/Receiving, Forklift) and works cross-functionally with R&D, Inside Sales, and the Plant Foreman. Initially, this role is heavily hands-on and analytical, then transitions into a more strategic ownership role as systems and processes stabilize. Core Responsibilities:? Own 100% of inventory levels, accuracy, and controls? Perform ABC analysis, reorder point calculations, and demand planning (approx. 50% initially)? Lead ongoing inventory reduction projects, including identifying, selling, or disposing of obsolete inventory (approx. 25%)? Ensure ERP accuracy across the full transaction lifecycle: requisition - PO - receipt - put-away - picking - shipping - invoicing?
