Job Description

Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented Financial Analyst, FP&A to join one of our major retail clients on a 12-month contract. This role will play a critical part in forecasting, analyzing, and managing tariff-related costs within product margins, while supporting leadership with data-driven insights.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment and excels at translating complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.

• Forecast and analyze all tariff-related costs within product margins, including:
o Incremental tariffs on direct imports
o Duties and tariffs associated with cross-border fulfillment
• Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders across finance, supply chain, and operations to:
o Quantify financial risks and opportunities
o Develop and execute scenario analyses related to inventory placement and fulfillment strategies
• Support ongoing cost mitigation efforts by identifying trends, variances, and optimization opportunities
• Prepare and deliver executive-ready materials for senior leadership, including:
• Tariff updates and reporting
o Financial insights and recommendations
o Ad hoc analysis to support business decisions
• Contribute to financial planning cycles and provide timely, accurate reporting in support of strategic initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related discipline
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling and experience with data visualization tools (strong preference for Power BI)
• Proven ability to interpret large, complex datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Background in consulting
• Experience working with supply chain, product costing, or tariff analysis
