This team works with large sets of data, so it is important that the candidate has worked with Teradata sets. The team is looking for an individual that can build and optimize their current data environments in order to increase efficiency of their business. Currently, data is being fed into data bricks/snowflake. This person is going to be responsible for helping to optimize what already exists in the data bricks environment and providing insight into if the current tools they are using is the best solution. You will also be writing complex queries, this team uses a mix of Spark, Scala, Python and SQL. You will also be responsible for connecting data from Data Bricks to Tableau, and creating visualizations. You will be optimizing, merging, and manipulating data in various environments. Due to the desire to optimize the business and have this person contribute to these conversations, it is important to be highly collaborative, a great communicator, and able to understand business needs. This will be a 12 month contract, with the opportunity to renew or convert as long as expectations are met during the initial contract. This role will be fully remote, requiring you to work PST hours. Insurance benefits and a 401k contribution program are available to you while on contract. Remote Release Train Engineer

Our Fortune 500 Client is seeking a Release Train Engineer for a potentially long-term, remote role. We need a senior-level person who can work with multiple products and coordinate their releases... The RTE role is the keeper of Agile for a program, so they must have the capability to be involved with pre- and post-PI (program incremental) planning, keep up with the program Kanban board, all the way down to the individual product and team boards in ADO. This person will ideally have the ability to also act as a Product Owner and Business Analyst as well but will mainly be the RTE or Scrum Master running with everything from user stories with acceptance criteria, to story points, to defining stories and prioritizing the backlog, to coordinating releases and leading the PI planning meetings. They must be comfortable working with the client to populate that information in ADO and also have enough experience to coordinate that amongst multiple products (currently they have 5). It is similar to a Project Manager, but this RTE will have specific skills per SAFe & Agile.
