Position DescriptionThe Strategic Account Manager will drive growth within key accounts across the data center markets. This role requires strong technical experience selling into the white space of... data centers (racks, cabling, servers, transceivers, etc), the ability to navigate complex organizations, and a proven track record of developing and expanding Tier 1 accounts.The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of industry trends, experience working with engineers and product teams, and an established network of decision-makers and influencers. This individual excels at both hunting (new business) and farming (account growth), with a focus on profitable, long-term partnerships.Key ResponsibilitiesMeet or exceed assigned revenue targets within defined marketsDrive new business through outbound prospecting, social selling, and industry engagementBuild and manage a strong sales pipeline across new, growth, and existing accountsLead customer engagement across multiple channels (phone, video, email, web)Qualify opportunities through discovery and develop tailored solutions for customer needsProcess RFQs, generate quotes, and manage opportunities through closeCollaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions for complex customer requirementsProvide regular reporting on pipeline, forecasts, and sales activityRepresent the business at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetingsResolve customer issues professionally and maintain strong ongoing relationshipsThis role pays between $120-145K with uncapped commission.
