Summary:You?ll manually test and help improve the audio experience in Ford vehicles, making sure music, calls, alerts, and other sounds work perfectly from the car?s apps all the way to the... speakers.The team will train you on Ford?s audio systems, and you?ll use basic scripting (Bash or Python) to automate tests where possible and save time.You?ll work closely with developers, review and enhance existing test plans, and help validate new features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on real vehicle hardware.The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on audio testing experience with devices (not just apps), preferably in automotive or consumer electronics, and some exposure to Android-based systems.The role is onsite in Palo Alto 4 days a week, and is open because the team currently has no dedicated QA engineers.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
