This role is ideal for a hands-on nurse leader who values resident relationships, thrives in a close-knit environment, and is comfortable balancing clinical oversight with day-to-day care delivery.The RN Nurse Manager provides clinical leadership across resident care, medication management, staff supervision, care coordination, and regulatory readiness; while fostering a compassionate, family-style culture where resident dignity, safety, and quality of life are the top priorities.**The client is also open to seeing Part Time candidates (19 hours/week)** Day-to-Day:Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all resident care (44 residents; capacity up to 50)Ensure residents are clinically stable, supported, and medically optimizedSupervise and support LPNs and CNAs/attendants (10 total staff: 8 FT, 2 PT)Oversee care plans and ensure updates are completed in compliance with regulationsMaintain accountability for medication room integrity, inventory, and complianceOversee high-volume medication administration accuracyCommunicate with physicians, hospitals, pharmacies, conservators, and external providersTranscribe and implement physician orders; ensure proper documentationProvide hands-on nursing care as needed (wound care, diabetic testing, nebulizers, vaccines)Assess residents returning from hospitalizations and coordinate follow-up careCoordinate referrals (PT, home care, specialists, behavioral health services)Lead monthly in-services and ensure staff certifications remain currentPrepare for and support Department of Public Health (DPH) inspectionsRespond to clinical incidents (falls, injuries, behavioral health concerns)Support resident admissions assessments and discharge planningMaintain visibility across shifts to support day, evening, and night staff handoffsProvide on-call coverage (primarily phone support; rare onsite weekends)Compensation:$100,000 to $110,000 per year annual salary.
