A large Energy Company is looking for a Business Analyst in the Houston, Texas area to join the Crude and Products IT Delivery Team. ?The Business Analyst will join a rather large team with a mix of... More people in Houston and India. This person will be brought on due to an influx in project work and?company growth over the next couple of years which is driving additional headcount for the team. ?The Business Analyst will be heavily involved in many projects. One specific upcoming project is the ETRM upgrade that kicks off next year. This is stil; very early on with no project plans in place. Their primary focus for this project will be to move their Products business from v14 to 26. They also have their Crude business on v11 but no immediate upgrade plans. Both Crude and Products are on-premise and will require a cloud migration eventually. The first 60 or so days after coming on board, the Business Analyst will need to make sure they immerse themselves with all the different projects going on and understand strategic direction, current projects and team integration. There is a dynamic demand which means they are constantly priority shifting and project juggling. The BA will support ongoing delivery demand alongside upgrade planning. The ideal BA will come from a heavy Front Office background with a lot of expertise in deal capture workflows, stakeholder management and ability to handle complex solutions/situations with minimal oversights. The team is made up of roughly 70 people split between their 2 locations in Houston and India. They sit in Oracle 19 and are a mix of an Agile and Waterfall delivery environment running 8-10 week release cycles.
