Monitor production operations, costs, and profitability. Study area for additional development from a workover, recompletion, and surface optimization perspective. Monitor operating expenses with field superintendents and foreman to identify and control high-cost areas to maintain lifting cost at the lowest possible level. Prepare annual volume and expense budgets. Prepare AFEs and procedures for workovers, recompletions, and facilities projects. Review all expenditures for properties within a specified area. Analyze production problems and direct actions to be taken. Equipment selection for wells; surface and downhole. Assure compliance with governmental regulations and company policies. Monitor well tests and production volumes to maintain and improve production. Work closely with reservoir and geology to develop behind pipe reserves. Be proficient in artificial lift and implement cost effective artificial lift mechanisms. Interact daily with production superintendents, production foremen, well site supervisors, pumpers, service companies, landowners, and regulatory agency personnel. Work well within team environment in both office and field. Work with superintendents, foreman, and operators to schedule annual well reviews. Work closely with surface ops, marketing, and land to plan downtime on weekly basis. Work closely with land department to ensure land requirements are upheld on all projects.
