This employee will be responsible for assisting with managing the construction crew in the field to ensure compliance is maintained onsite. Their daily responsibilities include joining morning meetings to discuss project status and scope of work then will ensure the crew is fully briefed on the work. From that point they will identify the correct drawing to match the tasks which is why it is important this individual be able to read construction drawings. Throughout the day they will need to monitor the crew and ensure compliance is adhering to Oscha standards. At the end of their shift they will document all of their observations in a proprietary SharePoint system called Vipper. Lastly, this employee will have a rotating day and night shift which they will be able to coordinate based on their schedule. Our large engineering/construction client is hiring for a Construction Superintendent in Seattle, WA. This individual will be delegating a team of 10-15 tradesmen consisting of electricians, HVAC /... mechanical / plumbing mechanics, and general construction laborers. Day to Day: Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Construction Superintendent to support one of our premier clients in Sparks, NV. This role is part of a dynamic self-perform team comprising 75... skilled craft and field laborers, a Superintendent, Project Coordinator, and multiple Foremen. The team is currently engaged in a high-profile SEMI expansion project involving the construction of a state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing facility.In this position, you will work closely with a dedicated Mechanical Project Manager. Your day will begin with a pre-job brief alongside the craft labor team to align on the days scope of work and review any design changes. Following this, youll participate in a planning session with your Project Manager to coordinate upcoming tasks.Approximately 7080% of your day will be spent in the field, collaborating directly with craft laborers and developing a detailed 23 week look-ahead schedule. Youll also attend subcontractor and manpower meetings, and provide regular updates on project progress and scheduling during various team meetings. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and is passionate about driving project success from the ground up.Job Responsibilities:Oversee on-site construction activities, managing both direct hire teams and subcontractors.Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders, site personnel, and the Project Manager.Drive project timelines, proactively addressing and escalating construction issues.Coordinate equipment installation and start-up with vendors and facilities teams.Ensure high standards of safety and quality, while continuously evaluating field processes for efficiency improvements.We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
