The Prepositioning and Early Works Construction Program Manager and regional leads to support portfolio management and evaluate sites to preposition capacity for datacenter campus sites to a condition ready for permanent works. This will include evaluating a regional portfolio of projects with a wide variety of unique requirements including building demolition, environmental remediation, grading, vegetation removal, substation construction, etc.Specific Job Task -- This Project Engineer will work with the Early Works Manager and Land Development team to ensure that: 1) construction details and permit requirements are confirmed, 2) inform and confirm scope, schedule and budget for prepositioning projects 3) communicate key risks, mitigations across program porfolio, 4) overall schedule is maintained, and 5) report on Key Metrics related to project timeline and predictability. This role requires regular engagement with key stakeholders, including land development, Security, Legal, design, construction, and operations teams, regulatory agencies, and outside consultants and contractors.Roles and Responsibilities - The Early Works Construction Program Manager is part of a team that represents the owner for the construction and delivery of the early site development of our sites. Specific responsibilities will include: * Regular engagement with On-site Construction Management of Early Works delivery. * Accountability for developing, managing, and reporting on safety, scope, schedule, and budget across a portfolio of prepositioning projects. * Regular internal reporting of project status and costs to meet KPI's and budget requirements. * Coordinate meetings and activities of across stakeholder and metro teams. * Creates relationships to drive orchestration and integration efforts for the development and implementation process of multiple prepositioning sites. * Collaborates and coordinates across stakeholder teams to ensure alignment on prepositioning project scope, schedule and budgets. * Partners with land development managers to gather project data, analyze site due diligence data, and make recommendations for prepositioning projects. * Collaborates with others to track, coordinate, and communicate construction project schedules. Works with others to establish and monitor processes, and helps hold stakeholders accountable for following the established schedule and processes. They are doing daily reports to document progress of the project -- what was done that day, who was there, what was the weather, what materials were on site, etc.The Group Leader would be responsible for overseeing the team, and in this role, it would be ideal that they have connectivity in the local area. We have established relations in the metro and most of the work is local, however, if they have additional connections -- that would be a way for us to continue growing our workload and growing our team. They will also work closely with our Senior Team Leader (who works out of our North Kansas City office) to strategize growth. This individual will also be client facing, meaning that if any issues arise, they would be the point of contact. A senior level safety manager may be requested to respond on their behalf if they are unable due to other conflicts. The DCX organization is also in the process of EHS program development. The EHS Advisors on the individual sites will play a role in the development of baseline regulatory procedures. This Senior Safety Manager may be utilized to support the coordination and implementation of these SMPs and / or to support other high level programmatic procedures and policies. In addition to the anticipated tasks identified above, the Senior Safety Manager will be required to participate in the following: initial Project Executive Safety Manager workshop to present objectives and program and strategy.
