Job Description:Insight Global is seeking a BMS Engineer to be on site in Raleigh-Durham to lead the PLC based equipment and systems contained within the Central Utility Building (CUB) and Drug... Substance Manufacturing (DSM) area of the facility. The below equipment is controlled primarily by either a Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLC and may interface to the Building Management System (BMS), Validated Data System (VDS), Kepware and/or PI Historian. In some cases, proprietary controls may exist. A partial listing of the PLC controlled equipment includes:Air Handling UnitsBoilersChillersResponsibilities:Attend regularly scheduled project status meetings with SME equipment owners, Jacobs Engineering (EPCM), and equipment vendors.Provide design review and input on Automation requirements related to the PLC controlled equipment.Support integration with BMS, VDS, Kepware, PI or other systems as needed.Ensure the BMS controlled equipment meets the sites data integrity requirements and assist in development and design as required.Review life cycle documentation including documentation produced by system integrators.Coordinate with various project workstreams including Automation, CSV, CQV, Utilities, Process Engineering, and others as needed.Safety, Project Procedure, and Project Instruction training as required.We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
