The Estimator will support federal construction projects by developing accurate cost estimates and proposals for task-order and design-build work, including projects built from narrative scopes without full design documents. This role manages proposal development end-to-end, leveraging tools such as InEight and Microsoft Project while collaborating with business development and project teams to meet government contracting requirements. The position requires prior DoD or federal construction experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform site visits in support of pricing and project planning.Day to Day:? Develop detailed construction cost estimates using InEight ? Prepare estimates from narratives, drawings, and limited design information ? Support pricing and proposal development for federal and DoD task order contracts ? Assemble complete proposal packages, including pricing, schedules, and required documentation ? Perform site visits to validate scope, quantities, and project conditions ? Use Microsoft Project to support schedule inputs tied to estimates ? Identify scope gaps, assumptions, and risk items impacting project cost ? Coordinate with business development and operations teams to meet proposal deadlines ?
