The inspector will oversee two contractor crews working in close proximity to ensure efficient and compliant execution of the work.Responsibilities:Monitor daily construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications.Document completed quantities of work for unit price items listed in the bid form.Photograph pre- and post-construction conditions to verify replacement of lead service lines with copper.Input service line replacement data into the City of Troy?s GIS database using the Survey123 mobile app.Prepare and submit detailed daily and weekly reports on contractor progress and site conditions.Communicate effectively with contractors, city representatives, and project stakeholders.Compensation: $40/hr. to $55/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
