ey ResponsibilitiesLeadership & StrategyLead and mentor a high-performing team of data platform administrators and engineers.Define the strategic roadmap for data platform operations, modernization,... and continuous improvement.Establish and enforce best practices around platform reliability, automation, performance tuning, and security.Platform Administration & EngineeringOversee end-to-end administration of Azure Databricks, including workspace governance, cluster management, performance optimization, and cost control.Manage Azure SQL Database and SQL Server platforms, including provisioning, monitoring, tuning, upgrades, and security hardening.Administer and optimize additional data technologies (e.g., Azure Data Lake Storage, Synapse Analytics, Snowflake, Data Factory) as applicable.Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness across all data environments.Operational ExcellenceDevelop and maintain operational runbooks, standards, and automation frameworks.Drive proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident management for all data platforms.Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, security, and business teams to ensure reliable and scalable data operations.Governance, Security & ComplianceImplement and maintain data governance, data access controls, and platform security in alignment with enterprise policies.Partner with IT security to ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.Lead cost optimization initiatives across data platforms.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
