The ideal candidate has a background creating scalable systems from scratch that automate complex structures. The long-term goal for this role is to be the center of development and foundational point of the infrastructure group. You?ll continue the plans to build an internal orchestration platform and providing expertise that enables infra teams to have business logic integrated with their systems. Responsibilities:?Tactical Work (40%)o Design and implement backend systems that abstract infrastructure concerns and enable self-service capabilities.o Own the development and support of internal tools, APIs, and automation frameworks used by infrastructure and application teams.o Drive enhancements to CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, focusing on security, repeatability, and observability.? Solutions Architecture (35%)o Define backend architectures and patterns that scale across infrastructure domains.o Create design documents, system diagrams, and proof-of-concepts that guide development and integration.o Leverage Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools to deliver reusable software components and automation services.?
