Additionally, the candidate must adhere to all safety protocols when working around hazardous chemicals and be capable of completing documentation and training others. The position involves working compressed shifts, Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday from 6am to 6pm. Key challenges include diagnosing equipment alarms, reading operational data, and creating action plans as needed. The Technician must be able to sustain equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment with minimal direction and use root-cause problem-solving techniques to address complex issues on semiconductor toolsets. Piping design skills, including an understanding of spacing, pipe racks, a variety of piping materials, and clash free designs is preferred. This role will be a 6-month contract-to-hire model, with the primary goal being a permanent conversion. This role can pay anywhere between $35-$55/hr, with permanent conversion salary coming in at or above that rate.
